Government In Action

 

The Millwood City Council has contracted with Welch-Comer Engineers to prepare designs and cost estimates for traffic calming measures on Empire Avenue and other areas in the community.  The council is also considering a Traffic Calming Program" for addressing traffic issues raised by community members.  Anyone may obtain more information by contacting Tom Richardson, city clerk/city planner, 924-0960.

The City of Millwood is organized as a non-charter code city of the State of Washington.  It was incorporated in 1928.  The City uses the mayor-council form of government, with the mayor as the chief executive officer.

 

Notices and Agendas:

 

Hearing notices will be published in the Spokesman Review, posted on the three notice boards located at city hall, on Dalton Ave. and on Butler Rd., and posted on the city’s website.  The city will maintain an email distribution list for those who request to be notified by email.

 

Preliminary agendas will be emailed to the Spokesman Review and Valley News Herald, and will be posted on the city’s website.   The city will maintain an email distribution list for those who request to receive agendas by email.
