The clerks office is responsible for issuing business licenses, maintaining City records and ordinances and responding to requests for public documents. The clerk serves as the secretary of the city counsel.
The Planning Department is responsible for administering the City’s Comprehensive Plan as well as the Zoning, Environmental, and Building codes. Additionally, the Planner reviews building permits, assists with public meetings and conducts public hearings.
The City’s Finance Department is responsible for establishing and maintaining sound fiscal management practices for all operations pertaining to City finances, revenues, debt and expenditures and management of the annual budget.
